The Japanese toy company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their first Godzilla vs. Evangelion Toho 30cm Series figure.
The new film SHIN GODZILLA (シン・ゴジラ, Shin Gojira) is co-directed by Hideaki Anno, creator of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン, Shin Seiki Evangerion), and his EVANGELION collaborator, Shinji Higuchi. To further promote the connection between the two popular franchises, Toho Co. Ltd. and Anno’s Khara Inc. are also collaborating on the “Godzilla vs. Evangelion” merchandising and marketing campaign featuring products from multiple licensees.
X-Plus and Bandai are partnering on “Godzilla vs. Evangelion” figures, including this Toho 30cm Series fusion.
