12" Inch Tall Evangelion Kiryu 2002 EVA Unit 01 Colors Ver Mechagodzilla X-Plus TOHO Neon Genesis

The Japanese toy company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their Godzilla vs. Evangelion Toho 30cm Series figure.

The new film SHIN GODZILLA (シン・ゴジラ, Shin Gojira) is co-directed by Hideaki Anno, creator of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン, Shin Seiki Evangerion), and his EVANGELION collaborator, Shinji Higuchi. To further promote the connection between the two popular franchises, Toho Co. Ltd. and Anno’s Khara Inc. are also collaborating on the “Godzilla vs. Evangelion” merchandising and marketing campaign featuring products from multiple licensees.

Bandai and X-Plus continue the Godzilla Vs Evangelion promotion with not one but two figures, MechaGodzilla Eva 01 and 02. The two figures are repainted versions of MechaGodzilla 2002 and 2003 respectively with the 2002 in the Eva 01 colors and 2003 in the Eva 02 colors. 

X-Plus and Premium Bandai are partnering on “Godzilla vs. Evangelion” figures, including this Toho 30cm Series fusion.
